Building in a garden
Described by Pevsner as ‘mannered Anglo-Baroque’, this imposing 1912 home had a small garage and shed to one side. A large family with teenage children wanted a separate series of spaces for entertaining, media room, gym and workshop. We produced a simple vernacular form that sits comfortably alongside the main house and includes a sheltered inside/outside space relating directly to the garden and existing verandah.
Toni has a great eye for detail and incorporated many small design features which enhanced the final design. Toni dealt sensitively with any practical issues that arose. We are very happy with the finished building and would highly recommend Toni’s services.
